First Credit Union Rewards Checking allows members to earn dividends on balances and receive ATM refunds. There is no minimum balance required and no monthly service fee if enrolled in paperless eStatements or direct deposit. With Rewards Checking take advantage of FREE online banking, mobile banking and online bill pay.

Earning Rewards is easy. Each monthly qualifying cycle you must:

  • Be enrolled in paperless eStatements
  • Login to eTeller online banking at least once
  • Complete (post and clear) at least one electronic deposit or withdrawal, including direct deposit and direct debit
  • Complete (post and clear) at least 15 purchases using your Visa® debit card(s)

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY NCUA INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the National Credit Union Administration through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to members under the NCUA's general share insurance rules.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional share draft account (or demand deposit account) on which the insured credit union pays no interest or dividend. It does not include any transaction account that may earn interest or dividends, a negotiable order of withdrawal ("NOW") account, money market deposit account, and Interest on Lawyers Trust Account ("IOLTA") even if share drafts may be drawn on the account.

Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 0.15% paid on balances between one penny and $25,000, and 0.07% APY paid on all amounts above $25,000 each monthly qualifying cycle the minimum requirements are met. If you do not meet the requirements per monthly qualifying cycle, you will earn 0.01% APY, however, you will not receive ATM refunds for that time period. APY, rate, and terms are subject to change without notice. No minimum balance required in checking account. Available to personal accounts only. Must qualify for account. $5 minimum balance in a savings account required for membership. Please see account disclosure for additional details.

ATM refunds up to $25 per monthly qualifying cycle if requirements are met.
