What is Shared Branching?
Credit unions across America share their branch locations. It means you can go to other credit unions that participate in the CU Service Centers® "shared branch" network and take care of your transactions as if you were at your local First Credit Union branch. It's unique to credit unions. With more than 6,700 locations it's one of the largest branch networks in the country -- larger than many "Big Box Banks," see the chart below for details.
You can make deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers, plus purchase traveler's checks and money orders too with shared branching.
