Community Involvement

Annual Food Drive

Each October First Credit Union holds an annual food drive as part of our celebration of International Credit Union Day. "People helping people" is a cornerstone philosophy of credit unions around the globe. Food donations collected to local food banks in the Phoenix and Tucson areas.

Grant & Scholarship Programs

First Credit Union awards up to $5,500 each year to deserving students and financial educators. The "Imagine the Possibilities" College Scholarship and the Youth Financial Education Grant programs are intended to help promote education and youth financial literacy. Learn more.

Educational Outreach

To promote lifelong financial stability, First Credit Union partners with Arizona schools to reward students for completing all homework assignments on time during the school year. Students receive a $25 deposit in their savings account.

Children's Miracle Network

"Credit Unions for Kids" is a year round fundraising program for CMN hospitals. Since 1997 First Credit Union has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help support the Tucson Medical Center pediatric unit and the "One Darn Cool School" at Phoenix Children's Hospital.

MS Walk

First Credit Union employees and family members have participated int he annual walk since 2005. Money raised helpd the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to fund important research for a cure and provides programs, as well as assistance to those affected by MS.

Veteran's Medical Leadership Council

First Credit Union is honored to support the Veterans Medical Leadership Council. It's mission is to promote initiatives that recognize the contributions of Veterans to our nation and enhance the health and welfare of Maricopa County Veterans.

ICAN Chandler

ICAN provides free, comprehensive programs that empower youth to be productive, self-confident, and responsible members of the community. First Credit Union is a proud supporter.

Junior Achievement of Arizona

Junior Achievement believes every child deserves an education in economics and finances in order to inspire and prepare them for success in a global economy. First Credit Union supports the misson of Junior Achievement with annual donations and volunteer hours.

Fiesta Bowl Parade

First Credit Union is a proud sponsor of the Fiesta Bowl Parade. This time-honored tradition happens every year just before the Fiesta Bowl footbal game. Look for First CU's helium balloon in the parade, Earnest, the piggy bank!
