1984 - First Federal Credit Union and J.L. Bammerlin Postal Federal Credit Union merged shortly after Fred Kent took the lead as manager. Fred Kent, and First Federal manager, Wayne Whiting, both had the vision of being able to serve all federal and postal employees throughout the state.
1985 - Republic Airlines Employees Federal Credit Union merged with First Federal.
1992 - AEA Credit Union of California discontinued service to Arizona Intel employees, and our credit union was selected to serve Intel employees and their families in Arizona.
1999 - Merged with United Industries Federal Credit Union.
2000 - Our name was shortened to First Credit Union after converting to a state charter to take advantage of new growth opportunities.
